Undergoing Restoration 1963 VW Panel for sale, found this one being offered for sale in Craigslist for $22000 located in Lake Elsinore, CA. As you've seen here is the T1 walk-through panel model has been undergone restoration since last three years and still needs few finishing touch to perfection.

The difficult decision has been made to sell our bus. She is a rare 1963 walk-through panel that has undergone a complete restoration and painted back to the original L87 Pearl White color. The over three-year restoration includes:

New front floor sections
New dog-legs
New inner and outer lower nose
New inner and outer rocker panels on both driver and passenger sides
New cargo floor sections on both driver and passenger sides
New right rear corner
New rear cargo door striker panel
New out-riggers
New jack supports
New front and rear cross braces
New completely rebuilt zero miles freeway flyer transmission, stock ride height
New completely rebuilt front suspension, stock ride height
New brakes all around including bearings, races, shoes, wheel cylinders, hard and soft lines, original drums turned true
Under-carraige completely sanded, primered and painted L87 Pearl White including inside the fender-wells and engine compartment
New completely rebuilt front door windows with all new seals and rubber
Bodywork includes very minimal bondo
Body sealed with epoxy primer then sprayed with multiple layers of Feather-fill primer and block sanded over forty hours to make the panels super straight.
New original color L87 Pearl White paint inside and out including side and rear door jambs
New front windshield glass (due to originals being cracked), new seals
New rear glass seal, original glass
New electrical wire harness
New rear tail lights
New front turn signal lenses
Original un-restored head lights

Items still needed to complete:
It still needs a gas tank and motor, front seats restored and upholstered, and interior panels. The plan was to make a high-end camper interior with a custom woody-style interior ceiling, high-end cabinets, seats and folding bed however we never got there.

This has been a three-year plus husband and wife project to make our super clean show bus but now regretfully we must let all of it go!
