I don't know much about this bus or its history. ...but I drove it around a couple of days. ..and this is what I can tell you about it.
this is in my opinion a running project bus, that comes with most of its parts,,,The Vin is:961130 and is present on the m-code plate behind the driver seat and also stamped on the engine bay next to the battery.

Very complete,but in need of restoration.plelase examine pictures for details.
This is a running bus..restore or enjoy and drive as it is.
Strong running 1600cc...runs and stops has good brakes..
Head lights, stop lights and turn signals are in good working condition.
I do recommend for the new owner to invest in a new set of tires..since the ones on the bus hold air..but definitely show age and wear..among other things it will need a rear apron since the one it has know has been cut by the p.o. for no apparent reason, also noticed door handle on one door is a later model..the interior is pretty much complete and decent including z-bed closet,over head closet.and there's a little jump seat behind the driver seat.
to be kept alone...or restored to perfection if that is the route that you choose. .

you will notice a small hole in the cargo floor picture....this is not rust, that is the hole that was made for the fridge and sink water to drain....the hole is supposed to be there...on all buses ..if the bus is a real camper..and not a later conversion

This is what I consider a "project/driver condition" bus... meaning its in driver condition but no were near show quality. meaning it will need work and restoration to make it pretty..so in my opinion is priced accordingly....If you can't invest at this time the 35k-40k on nicely restored camper bus for ..this might just be the right project for you.
