Up For Sale Early T1 Bus, VW Transporter 1958, found this one being offered for sale in Craigslist asking $27000 located in Carlsbad, California. As shown here is Early T1 Bus model, VW Transporter released in 1958 looking for a new owner.

I own a part of history... This Transporter was shipped new to Tokyo... then to Europe Then Woodstock...then California... If you search Glinda VW Transporter there are 8 viral videos about this Bus.... It has its original Beads that spell out Glinda... Safari factory equipped.. factory heater...Factory hand crank bus etc... The bus sat in New Mexico where the original hippies ended up then current hippie documented it and restored for an OG adventure over the Rockies to California... I have decided to sell it as is...it was running when it was parked 4 years ago... all lights work starter needs to be replaced... I do not have time for it.. but don't care if i keep it also.... I have it titled here in California... possible trade up or down high end truck suv here are videos of it from a few years ago...

This would make a great addition to any VW collection. Cruise it to the beach, the shows or a campout.

As you've seen here is 1962 T1 model comes with RV body frame, the engine was replaced by a V8 Engine not perfect yet but is a complete project ready to finishing.

As you've seen here is the T1 single cab model described as decent body frame (unfortunately rear fenders was cut), still with original interior and motor runs condition. 1958 press bumper single cab Volkswagen bus truck.
Here are a few details on the truck...
This truck sat for years and years in a dry high desert area. There is rust but not as bad as most I've seen. Missing the rear bumper. Motor runs with new parts installed... plugs, carb, distributor and fuel pump. New 6 Volt battery... yes still 6 Volt. Needs a muffler and tail pipe and a replacement fuel tank. Also the bus has all new brakes. Factory drums turned.. new shoes, wheel cylinders, master, soft lines. Fresh oil change and trans gear oil change. Still has original reduction gears. Interior still sports OG paint. Title in hand with matching VIN tags in place. The 14" wheels in the picture are no longer on the bus and now has 15" bug wheels. Would consider partial trade for an original paint ghia, convertible bug, ragtop bug, notchback or squareback. No other trades will be considered only og patina paint VWs. No tire kickers or time wasters. Only show interest if you have cash and want to buy.
