Up For Sale Orange High Top Camper, found this one in Craigslist, fairly cool high top camper based on Late Bay window bus, looking for $5900 located in Gilbert, Arizona. As you've seen here is 1979 model made by Adventure Campers seems to be a perfect bone to restored.

1979 VW Camper Bus - Orange & Tan High Top. Rebuilt engine. Good tires. New battery. Very little rust. Runs well. There are a lot of kitchen/heating/cooking components that go with the bus but are not installed. Rear bumper is not attached but the joints and bumper are included w/ the bus.

Needs some work: brake fluid is leaking, gas tank gasket needs repair, the alternator and regulator are in good shape but wiring leading from the alternator/regulator up to the dashboard and back to the battery needs attention (there's probably a short), needs new muffler, dash lights aren't working correctly, fuel tank display (in the dashboard) isn't working, etc. There are some things that need attention - but overall it's a solid bus that has a lot of character.

I haven't messed with the paint. It's the original orange and tan. I've had it registered/insured for a couple years and have driven it periodically during the cooler months. Odometer is at 51,860 miles. This bus is a nice relic from 1979 that is mostly in it's original form. Clean title. Asking $5,900 or best offer. Cash only please.

No words about who make this, for usually like this model was come from a line of the Adventure Campers INC. The camper just listed in Craigslist for $6500, that make we curious so far no hidden issue the prices so low for its condition, be wise to know clearly of the seller contact then come closer inspection is must to avoid scams.

VW Adventure Camper for Sale, found this one in Craigslist, just posted about 2 days ago looking for $10000 located in La Mesa. As you've seen here is a high top campervan was built by Adventure Campers INC. based on 1972 Volkswagen T2 bus, had rebuilt done two years ago and still roadworthy today. it has correct shape with mostly original condition.

This bus is in nearly original condition. It was stored for 12 years. Here is what's been done to get it running two years ago.
Rebuilt Transmission, replace brake booster, new dual weber 34ict carbs, new tires, all new window molding, all new kyb shocks, new steering damper, bigger sway bar, new door seals, new alternator, new coil, battery only one year old.

Engine is an 1700 and runs strong, had all push rods replaced so very little oil leakage. The mileage is just over 100k, could be original.

Very little rust, purchased new floor pan for driver side, but not installed. Windshield has small crack, but I have a brand new one that needs to be installed. Recently installed auxiliary battery and electronic ignition.

Gutted the cabinets and built new ones to match. Used bamboo plywood for the table tops and reconfigured the cabinets for more storage. I removed the Ice Box and made a cabinet big enough to store a port-a-potty. Replaced vinyl floor. Seats have small holes. Bed still folds out. Stove and sink work.

Resealed the entire fiberglass top and made repairs, no leaks! The furthest I've driven one way without stopping was about 100 miles. Had no issues. It's been great for camping and day outings.

It's was my daily driver for the past two years, but now I only use on occasions. Would love for it to go to a good home. Make me an offer! Dropped the price!
