Very Solid Splitwindow Bus!

Body is very straight with almost no rust , there is a bit see photos of front floors and cargo floors. battery tray is also solid.

Interior dash is nice and not cut, Interior has panels , front seats, cockpit seat, table and back seats

Previous owner was a daily driver, it was parked a couple years when I purchased but battery, fresh oil and gas and it fired right up, havent done much of anything since, will need brakes service to get on the road

I purchased this Bus a while back for obvious reasons of being extremely solid and original for a splitwindow these days, I got caught up with a few other projects and never got around to this one but whoever gets this I think will be very happy,

California registration with black black plates. Vellvet Green and Pearl White Westy has traveled the west coast from border to border throughout her life. Owned for many years by po and ppo who lived in Seatlle. Character plus. Recently purchased and driven from Seattle to San Diego. It is outfitted with a complete So42 Westphalia camper kit for a non-walk thur 11 window Volkswagen Bus. Large elephant ear mirrors. Completely out fitted with new Baltic Burch panels throughout camper and cab. An original floor with table mount to secure table leg base and back hatch internal latch.

Acquired in the process of removing three layers of paint on top of the original Velvet Green and Pearl White. Taken down to the original paint, this is factory Non- Walkthru 11 Window Bus with black front seats, 12 volt electrics, un-cut dash with period in-dash radio. Six complete Jalousie with screens, correct outer and inner trim. Five 14 inche rims with AT 2s. Daily driver.

The SO42 interior is complete with original non-walk thur jumpseat, original spice rack, original ice box with drip pan and rack, original folding tables, headbanger cabinet, original Z bed, closet and what not cabnet for drivers side rear cabnet. Original to period curtains mounted with the original curtain rods. Front compartment has curtain tracks for front passenger, driver and front windows for privacy. 1600cc engine, stock reduction box transaxle, 12 volt. Yakama Industries luggage rack, circa 1970s. Original front bumper with over riders. Rear bumper is an after market bumper with built in tow capacity with wiring. consider trade-.

It's a Deluxe model with 13-window body was released in 1966 has been owned by the current owner for 18 years with a lot of love, now it decide will move to Seattle so it requires a replacement to take care of this bus.

It's finally time to let go of my bus. Moving to Seattle and need to get my funds situated before I head up there. This is my 1966 13-Window Deluxe VW Bus and I've owned this bus for 18 years. A lot of time, love, money and work has gone into getting it to where it is today. Starting a new chapter in my life, and ready to find this bus a new home!

13. Rust - No holes anywhere. Underneath, some surface rust. Pop out windows gather water when it rains or when you wash the car. small amount of surface rust at the bottoms of the windows. POR 15 was used in interior of bus and dynamat was placed down before carpet
14. When I purchased the bus and we san blasted it, I had a rust hole replaced with sheet metal in the cargo area.
15. Transmission - Shifting Mechanism was serviced, but clutch and tranny work well.

All original 1966 Volkswagen microbus.
This is a great original unmolested bus and you just don't find them this nice anymore.
This bus is the perfect hobbyist seeking a weekend garage project. Be smart don't buy a rusty bus needing $10k in labor and metal.

The body of the bus is SOLID. Only a couple pin holes in the front floor and a dime size hole in the battery tray.

The bus is 95%original paint. Part of the passenger dog leg, rocker and bottom of the forward cargo door has been repaired and touched up with spray can paint...

I recently serviced the brake system, electrical and transaxle. The engine is a 1600 dual port with a full tune up. New spark plugs, electronic ignition, wires, new fuel pump, rebuilt carb, valve adjustment ECT. Bus runs great.

As far as interior goes there isn't much. That's where YOU come in and get to make it your own! The headliner is still in the bus and is very nice. Front seats need to be recovered, rear seats I have a rock and roll bed.

Overall this bus is ready to go. Runs drives and stops well. Needs front suspension work(tie rods and drag link) to be a daily driver.... If I get my full asking price I will replace the worn front end parts. Clear open title in my name, over seas buyers welcome. Please no tire kickers or time wasters. Delivery to port available for an additional fee... $18,000

1966 Volkswagen Bus 11 Window Standard, here's we found classic Volkswagen bus for sale in Roswell, GA, asking for $15000. This a T1 bus comes with 11 window standard model built in 1966.

For Sale: 1966 VW standard bus running and driving. This is my current daily driver. It is a bench seat bus with a zbed included, jump seat, and wardrobe cabinet. OG color is all white unusual for a Standard. Been repainted twice.

Motor runs well, brakes good, and new tires. Needs motor mounts and transmission mount. Has a little slop in the worm gear in the steering box and the center pin of the front beam giving it a little play in the steering.

Headlights, taillights, Brake Lights work. Turn signals do not work I believe its in the switch.

Bus has some rust in the cargo floor see pics, rust in battery tray, some rust in passenger rear rocker. Inner rockers are perfect. Doglegs good. Nose has a small dent by headlight bucket but no rust. Inner nose and A pillars are in great shape. A couple holes on Passenger side front floor. Some holes cut for speakers in bulk head and lower panel under seats. A few rivets in roof from where roof rack one time. Rear package tray in great shape. Rear hatch driver side hinge is broken, still shuts. Bottoms of doors in good shape. This bus is a pretty solid driver. Drive as is or restore as you go.

Have driven this bus to FL, NC, and TN several times over the past two years.

$15000 Bill of sale and registration included, no title.
